Easter Egg Bunny Amigurumi Pattern

The Easter Egg Bunny amigurumi is a quick and beginner-friendly pattern. Crocheted in the round, a stitch marker is highly recommended.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1x 85g Ball of Impeccable Tweed Loops & Threads Yarn (Size 4)

  • Scrap of brown yarn for the mouth

  • 2.50mm crochet hook

  • 2x 9mm safety eyes

  • Stitch marker

  • Row counter

  • Darning needle

  • Polyfil (Stuffing)

Abbreviations:

ch=chain
sc=single crochet
ss=slip stitch
st(s)=stitch(es)
F/O=fasten off
inc=increase
dec=decrease

Gauge

5 sts x 6 rows = 4” in single crochet

Pattern:

Body/Head:

Starts at the bottom of the body and transitions to the head. Worked in one piece.

1.  Ch 2. 6 sc in the first ch. (6 sts)

2.  2 sc in each st around. (12 sts)

3.  *1 sc, inc. Repeat from * around. (18 sts)

4.  *2 sc, inc. Repeat from * around. (24 sts)

5.  *3 sc, inc. Repeat from * around. (30 sts)

6.  *4 sc, inc. Repeat from * around. (36 sts)

7.  Sc in each st around. (36 sts)

8.  Sc in each st around. (36 sts)

9.  Sc in each st around. (36 sts)

10.  Sc in each st around. (36 sts)

11.  Sc in each st around. (36 sts)

12.  Sc in each st around. (36 sts)

13.  Sc in each st around. (36 sts)

14.  *4 sc, dec. Repeat from * around. (30 sts)

15.  Sc in each st around. (30 sts)

16.  Sc in each st around. (30 sts)

17.  Sc in each st around. (30 sts)

18.  *3 sc, dec. Repeat from * around. (24 sts)

19.  Sc in each st around. (24 sts)

20.  Sc in each st around. (24 sts)

21.  Sc in each st around. (24 sts)

Place 9mm safety eyes into round 19, approximately 5 sts apart. Begin stuffing.

22.  *2 sc, dec. Repeat from * around. (18 sts)

23.  *1 sc, dec. Repeat from * around. (12 sts)

24.  Dec around. (6 sts)

Ss & F/O. Use the remaining tail to sew up the hole of the head.

 

Ears:

Make 2. Starts at the top of the ear.

1.  Ch 2. 6 sc in the first ch. (6 sts)

2.  2 sc in each st around. (12 sts)

3.  Sc in each st around. (12 sts)

4.  Sc in each st around. (12 sts)

5.  Sc in each st around. (12 sts)

6.  Sc in each st around. (12 sts)

7.  Sc in each st around. (12 sts)

8.  Sc in each st around. (12 sts)

9.  *1 sc, dec. Repeat from * around. (8 sts)

10.  Sc in each st around. (8 sts)

11.  Sc in each st around. (8 sts)

Don’t stuff the ears. Ss & F/O. Leave a long enough tail to attach the ear to the top of the head. Repeat for the 2nd ear.

 

Mouth/Nose:

Use a scrap of dark brown yarn to embroider an X for the bunny's mouth/nose.
